We are pleased to announce that we are seeking qualified applicants for an INTERNAL Maintenance Custodian III position with the Facilities Department, located at Redmond High School.
JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Custodian III performs a leadership role at a large and/or complex facility and coordinates the work for a crew on multiple work shifts with a team-based approach to assignments. The job position requires a variety of building maintenance skills with mid-level proficiency in plumbing and custodial equipment repairs. The MCIII position requires good public relation skills and the ability to understand the logistics and coordination needed to support multiple building use events. The job requires the ability to perform cleanliness standards at mastery level and to have the ability to train personnel in proper cleaning techniques and safety measures. MCIII position requires demonstrated mastery skill with various types of floor finish maintenance, including gym floor refinishing. Position requires good to excellent computer skills and the ability to build/manipulate spreadsheets for scheduling, inventory control, purchase orders and reports. Position requires the ability to respond to building security/emergency needs and to serve on the site OSHA workplace safety committee. Work is subject to inspection and evaluation of the Facilities Supervisor, as well as the principal building administrator. Position requires working around a broad spectrum of children and adults in the academic and public arenas.
